The Educational Dreamer and The EdD Series Launch Party was held at The French Press on March 23, 2019, from noon until 2:00 p.m. Attendees discussed educational issues (Ed Talk), which continue to plague our public school system as they created action plans to enhance a rich multicultural educational system.
Guest ate a brunch style buffet provided by The French Press, which included Pancakes, Belgian Waffles, Potatoes and Sweet Baby Breesus Sliders (fried boudin balls on a buttery biscuit topped with pecan covered bacon). Guest also ate custom cookies provided by the Cajun Cookie Company.
The Educational Dreamer will begin hosting Ed Talk, an educational forum to create solutions to the educational issues we face. Ed Talk will be open to all stakeholders (parents, educators, students and community members) as all input is necessary to advance the current state of education.
